| Is Globalization Good or Bad? |
The term Globalization is derived from the word ‘Global’ which refers to the integration of the world economy by having no such boundaries. Globalization allows the exchange of technology, culture, communication, and transportation all over the world.
Usually, the question comes in people’s minds that Is globalization a pressure for all the countries in the world to stand in the economy for sure? Does it mean the same stores will be in every part of the world? or Does it mean to rule over developing countries?
Mostly People promoting globalization positively. They take globalization as an unstoppable rise of marketing intelligence platform where anyone can play a role in technological improvement.
But some argue that globalization is killing local cultures by forcing poorer countries to act the same as the big countries want.

THE GOOD SIDE OF GLOBALIZATION
Let’s look on the bright side of globalization. In today’s 21st century, the world is becoming more competitive in the digital era. There will be no objection to say this that nowadays, the world is too dependent on technology.
Due to globalization, developed countries introduced the concept of outsourcing for developing countries just to make job opportunities available. The concept of outsourcing means people sitting in their own country allow doing work for other countries. Moreover, globalization not only generated job opportunities but also overcome the unemployment rate all over the country.
Many years ago, there was a time when people used to send letters for sending the message which took lots of time to reach in the desired place. But thanks to globalization, with the rise of technology mobile phones and the internet brought people closer. Now, people use electric mail that keeping data secure to communicate with their loved ones or from the business point of view. With the use of communication channels, it is easy for the nation to interact with each other by just a single click. According to BBC News, many companies in the world use Skype to interact with their clients’ and it makes life easier for businesses.
Multinational companies are the result of globalization. The process of trade (import and export) become possible. The world is becoming a smaller place even the local producers can sell their products across the boundaries with ease and speed.
For Suppose; A Country is good at producing high-quality Mangoes. Globalization makes it possible for an ordinary trader to access all over the world. Those countries who are dealing with the summer season can also be enjoying un-seasonal fruits like Kiwi in their homelands just because of globalization, no worries.
This is globalization that allows a tourist to explore the world without any trouble. People go to other countries just for the sake of enjoyment and share their culture in other homelands.
Globalization has a lot of impact on religion. Many Islamic states like Iraq and Afghanistan people believed that become a suicide bomber is the better way to get heaven for the sake of the country. In Burma, where the autocratic system exists. It is a system in which leaders make a decision based on their own beliefs and do not involve an external party to take apart. With the rise of Globalization, Democracy was introduced which means rules by the people. the people will be allowed to decide what is good for their rights. A state cannot demolish human rights. The global voice becomes powerful than the state rules. It is not easy in this globalized era to physically abuse anyone. The globalization era helped people to fight for cruel treatment by having no fear. The reason why women’s voices are deeper today. It promoted peace, unity, justice, strengthened the protection of human rights, and also changed narrow mindsets.
The living standard is also promoted by globalization through education and health care. Education plays a big role in developing countries. It has become much easier for developing countries to get better jobs than labor work .it allows people to grab job opportunities by showing their skills. Hence, it is education that led a person from poverty to prosperity. Globalization has a lot of impact on education. The Internet allows people to learn new skills easily. It reduced the knowledge gap by introducing online education all over the nation. English is used as an official language to communicate easily and share ideas.
THE BAD SIDE OF GLOBALIZATION
Despite having benefits, globalization also has negative effects on the culture, businesses, and the environment of the world.
The developed countries are trying to promote the fast-food chains over the world just for the sake of gaining extra profits. Due to globalization, they are trying to make people addicted to unhealthy eating by introducing American brand MacDonald's, KFC, Pepsi Brands (Dew, Sting, Sprite ) over the world. These companies have no concern about people's health. They are just spreading their products worldwide and are not focusing on the major possibilities of a human health disaster.
Globalization increased the spread of western culture in the world and killed local cultures. Local cultures vanished just because of the dominancy of western culture. Developing countries are following western culture and give no importance to their homeland culture. For example: In Pakistan elite class adopted western culture with dressing style and eating habits. Western culture badly affected the norms and values of different countries.

Globalization is also blamed for the unemployment situation. Well developed countries are getting work done at any cost by those countries that have a low employment rate. These well-known companies allow developing countries the labor force to work with. In this way, companies get extra work from them by giving low wages. Just for the sake of more profit, companies ignore the rise of the unemployment rate in their own countries.
Globalization has a bad impact on the world's environment. As compare to developing countries, developed countries are more responsible to produce CO2 gases. These gases are emitted from industries, the use of aircraft increases the Greenhouse effect led to the depletion of the ozone layer, and advancement in transportation led to the polluted environment seriously. The survival of human race is dependent on the environment, we as a nation cannot afford to ignore our own actions.
