BRIBERY

This is a type of corruption done by an individual or group for achieving something or speed-up work. Bribery is very common in our society, everyone is involved in this immoral act.

For Suppose:

•  If a person gives a bribe to a civil servant in charge of issuing a passport earlier from the actual issuance time, it refers to an illegal act. 

• Giving a bribe to officials for jumping queue just to do the task earlier.

STATE CORRUPTION

State Corruption is a global form of corruption. Government officials use and abuse their hold on power to extract money from the private sector and from Government Revenues at large.

For Suppose:

• As we all know that, whatever the taxes we are paying to the government bodies is only for our country’s progress and well-establishment.The problem arises when to whom the district authorities are assigned trying to start corrupting money by not spending on making the district roads. Politicians are using their authority illegally for personal benefit.

EXTORTION

Extortion is a major type of corruption. In this type of corruption, a person demands money/property on behalf of his power or also on gunpoint which is also known as Blackmailing. 

Even in major cities of Pakistan, Extortion is very rare. Almost 90% of the low or middle-level public is facing this type of threat. Sometimes, these people not just lose their money but also lost their lives because of a shot from guns.

FAVORITISM AND NEPOTISM

Favoritism and Nepotism is also a type of corruption. This is also quite rare in society. It refers to a person favoring one’s relatives or friends to give them jobs in various fields business, sports, entertainment, religion, politics, and others.

Low Wages mean an income that is insufficient to meet the basic needs of human.when the government assigns low- level salary to their employees. So, as a result, they start getting money illegally.

For Example: In Pakistan, Police is well-known for its unethical act. They are demanding money just for the sake of Tea and Water that shows an alarming sign to our government leaders. The government should assign economical wages to its workers. After this, Police departments will not be the cause of corruption.

2. UNEMPLOYMENT

A big cause of corruption is Unemployment. When a man has no opportunity to get money halal by doing work in a shop or any organization. So a man will go for an illegal act like corruption. This person will snatch money/property by gunpoint from citizens. Moreover, a robber will be born in the society.

3.  INEQUALITY 

As all known “Laws are equal for everyone”. But the question is that Is everyone treated equally in society? The short answer is NO.

In society, there is discrimination that exists between the Elite and Low-level class. A man who commits murder belongs to an elite class will not be punished by the judge and easily get relief from this matter. This all happens in our society is due to inequality.

Due to corruption, people are moving towards depression and having no hope for good. It is very important to look into this matter. Here are some recommendations to control corruption for the better future of our coming generations.

1. Corruption can only be controlled if both individually or politically each citizen understands their responsibility. If it starts from a small level, one rejects to accept a bribe from others. In the end, no one is enlisted in the corruption list.

2. The government makes sure to check and balance on basic commodities that prices should be affordable. Low inflation means no Corruption. 

3. For guilty individuals, there should be strict laws by the government. After this, People will scare of tough punishments and will think before doing something wrong.

4. Anti-corruption agencies and Media can play a big role in tackling corruption by not just exposing corruption but also sustaining an open and transparent flow of information.
